ABOUT

Bill Goody -

AQUARIUM PROFESSIONAL

I truly believe I'm the best aquarium expert in New York City. I'm always researching and applying new developments and techniques. And over the years I've also gotten pretty good with plumbing and automations.

My dad was a big fish enthusiast and I had them growing up.  He taught me a lot of old school aquarium philosophies which I still practice today. It was our "thing". He never did aquarium installation or anything like that even though he probably would've been the best at it.

During high school, I used to volunteer at my local Petland after school. I was so hooked on fish tanks and just wanted to talk to everyone about aquariums. And through the years I've worked at PetlandPetco and Fishtown(the biggest aquarium store in New York City).

Before I left, I was taking care of the reef system and I will always be thankful to Fishtown for contributing to my knowledge, skills and confidence to become a master at my craft. I still go there sometimes and help out for fun.

I started setting up and maintaining aquariums almost a decade back and it has really been a fun journey. I've made my share of mistakes as well as have amazing success but I believe it's the mistakes I've made that were more profound as they have made me a much better aquarium service provider. And now I've perfectected my craft and rarely make mistakes. Even though aquariums themselves are a constant gamble. Hiring a professional will help you understand your risks.

I don't set up regular fish tanks where the fish are only surviving, but complete eco systems where the fish are thriving.
